Hello!

You can call me Liz. I wear many hats, including being a dancer, dance teacher, event manager, and music therapist. Above all, I'm a proud member of the Boston dance community. This community, as well as loved ones, students, and patients shows me every day just how powerful music, movement, and connection can be in promoting well-being and quality of life.

That's what inspired me to start The Dancer Network, a space for people to connect, grow, and thrive through dance.

I'm here to support, answer questions, and when I don't have the answer, connect you to people who can!

My Story

I was working as a full-time music therapist in hospice when my life took a sharp turn with a triple-positive breast cancer diagnosis. I started chemotherapy the same week COVID lockdowns began, and for two years, I balanced active treatment with full-time work, unable to isolate despite being immunocompromised.

My lifelines were my loved ones and my community.  We connected online, danced wherever we could find a floor, practiced acro outside, and defied the heaviness of the world around us with laughter and unapologetic joy. That experience solidified my belief in the power of community. I want to pass that feeling on and support you, dear reader, as a beautiful member of our dance community.
